I have already checked to see if any other application was getting in the way of Stationeers but this doesn't seem to be the case.Įdit: Updated drivers and now it seems to be a fullscreen or windowed problem. I realised this was the case when setting v-sync on and tabbing out to find the game ran at a steady 60 fps, and still locked to 30 fps when tabbed in. Would anyone be able to tell me how to reverse the foreground and background resource usage for this game? When tabbed into the game I get 30 fps (regardless of settings) and when tabbed out I get 300 fps. Glad to be able to play it at 60 fps but this still has me baffled and will keep trying to work it out. I'm starting to consider it being something to do with the rtx cards and fullscreen optimization settings, even though i have turned off fullscreen optimizations in the games. Though this still seems locked at 60 fps regardless of v-sync settings in both in-game and nvidia applcation settings. I've been messing around with Nvidia application settings and not quite sure how, but I managed to get the game to run at 60 fps while in fullscreen. It would seem that while the game is in windowed mode, it will still use 30% cpu and 99% gpu for 300 fps no matter what application I have focused. What happens if the game is in window mode and another application has the focus? Does the game still "run" or does it stand still?
